After eight months of renovations and preparations, Encircle, a resource center for LGBT youths and families in Provo, will host public open house and benefit art sale Saturday.

Open house hours are from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and includes the "Love Louder Art Sale," Stephenie Larsen, Encircle's founder and executive director said. The center is housed in the historic William D. Alexander House, 91 W. 200 South in Provo.

Encircle's mission is to provide a safety net of support to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender kids. Encircle will open for services, including individual and family counseling and other resources, on Feb. 13, Stephenie Larsen, Encircle's founder and executive director said.

More than 200 original works have been donated by artists from Utah and around the country, including J. Kirk Richards, Lynn Farrar &Sophie Soprano, Julia Blake, Leslie Olpin Peterson, Laura Erekson Atkinson.
